Apple rumoured to ditch Retina display

by on27 December 2013

Not so good after all

Apple is rumoured to be losing interest in its over hyped Retina display. Apple may ditch the Retina displays for its tablet lineup, and instead focus on increasing screen resolution.

Part of the problem is that Jobs’ Mob is losing out because it has poorer resolutions than its rivals. Take for example the iPad Air. No, we mean it, take it, smash it and raise the standards of the world. The Air is Apple's most powerful tablet but looked like rubbish in the reviews because Android tablets had more screen resolution for a better viewing experience. The iPad Air's display was ugly in comparison to Amazon's much cheaper Kindle Fire HDX.

Apple is rumoured to be testing its tablets packed with both 2K and 4K displays which should be in the shops in the second quarter of 2014 alongside the rumoured iPhone 6 with a bigger display.
