As the Advent 4211 Netbook

We're not sure if MSI saw it better to take the OEM route when it came to the Wind PC compared to Asus' direct-to-retail route with the Eee PC, but we've seen the Wind take on several different "looks" to try to trick people into thinking it's something else.

The latest addition is the Advent 4211 Netbook that has just gone on sale in PC World in the U.K. There's no doubt about the fact that it's the Wind PC and the specifications are identical, the only difference is the outside, which has been given an all gunmetal grey paint job.

The looks might matter to some, as would the branding, although Advent doesn't have a great brand reputation, but with Medion and most likely more companies to follow, we're not amazed to see that MSI has signed up Advent as an OEM.

Price-wise, you're looking at forking out £279.99 (€351/$558) plus £4.95 for the delivery, unless you opt to get one in-store. That makes it £50 cheaper than the Asus Eee PC 900 from PC World, and we'd say it's a much better deal.

There's no mention of which battery it comes with, but our guess would be a 3-cell battery, as there's nothing protruding out the back of the notebook on the pictures.

You can get one here if you live in the U.K. and it's in stock as of now.
