Apple iPad and iPhone 5C were Black Friday winners

Written by Slobodan Simic

51 percent higher iPad Air sales

According to a report from Localytics, it appears that Apple's new iPad Air, iPad Mini and iPhone 5c were big Black Friday winners, followed by Amazon's Kindle Fire HD 7-inch and Samsung Galaxy S IV smartphone.

According to the report, sales of iPad Air were up by 51 percent during the past weekend while both iPad Mini and the iPhone 5c went up by 26 percent. Apple also managed to raise sale numbers of iPad Mini 2nd gen and iPhone 5s by 17 and 15 percent while the old iPhone 4s was up 10 percent.

These sale numbers allowed Apple to take the first three spots. It was closely followed by Amazon's Kindle Fire HD 7-inch, which managed to get 23 percent boost in sales and Samsung's Galaxy S IV which managed to get 20 percent. Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 7-inch also managed to squeeze in with 8 percent boost in sales during Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale.

Judging by these scores Apple is still quite popular and the iPhone 5c is as well.
