Nvidia releases Geforce 331.58 WHQL driver

One for Battlefield 4 and Batman: Arkham Origins

Nvidia has released the new Geforce 331.58 WHQL-certified driver aimed for used with the upcoming Battlefield 4 and Batman: Arkham Origins game titles. In addition to being the recommended driver for these two games, the new driver also berings some performance improvements for several PC games as well new and updated game profiles.

As expected, the new Geforce 331.58 WHQL-certified driver supports Geforce 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700 series graphics cards as well as the ION GPUs and will be available for Windows XP, 7, 8 and Windows 8.1 OS in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors. According to the release notes, the new driver also brings increased performance by up to 13 percent on Geforce 400, 500, 600 and 700 series GPUs in several PC games, when compared to the Geforce 327.23 WHQL driver.

It also adds a couple of new and updated game, SLI and Surround profiles for a bunch of games including Battlefield 3 and 4, Crysis 3, Batman: Arkham Origins, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and much more.
