360 to get Dead Rising 3?

Written by David Stellmack

Might not only be for Xbox One

Sources claim that Capcom Vancouver will be also developing a Xbox 360 version of Dead Rising 3 that will be released at some point after the Xbox One version is released. Originally, Dead Rising 3 was announced as a Xbox One exclusive, but now it looks like it might be more of an Xbox exclusive.

Microsoft Studios is said to apparently be handling the publishing for both versions and while the Xbox One version will arrive in November, it will be some time during the first quarter before the Xbox 360 version is released, but it could end up being a longer wait than that.

So far both Microsoft and Major Nelson have released statements indicating that there are no plans for a Xbox 360 version of Dead Rising 3. It could be that this is nothing more than a move to continue to keep the Xbox One exclusivity till they officially announce the Xbox 360 version next year. We have to wonder at this point why Capcom Vancouver would want to convert Dead Rising 3 down to the Xbox 360, but while it is possible, we will just have to wait and see what happens, but we would not count on it.
