When we last checked in with the Keiji Inafune Kickstarter retro project Mighty No. 9, funding continued to roll in towards the stretch goals of Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U versions of the game. With only 13 days to go, the funding has topped $2.2 million with almost 40,000 supporters. The game continues to shatter stretch goal after stretch goal.

The next stretch goal to fall at $2.4 million is a Challenge Mode and an Extra End Stage & Boss at $2.55 million also seem likely. The ultimate stretch goal of making it to $3.3 million to fund the development of Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will still need a little help to get there, but we do think it is very possible based on the amount of funding and the number of people that have been attracted to the project.
