Not just ugly, but overweight and overpriced, too

Olidata's
JumPC Classmate has been listed at Geizhals, and boy, is it ugly. I've just posted a couple of AMD XGP renderings which were truly pathetic, but Olidata's JumPC makes them look like a like couple of supermodels on a Caribbean beach after one Long Island iced tea too many.

This utterly disgusting machine is powered by Intel's 900MHz Celeron-M 353, like the one used in the Eee PC. It's got 512MB of memory and a 2GB SSD drive. Even in the Linux-based Eee PC, 2GB is just not enough, but this ugly duckling ships with XP Home, making matters even worse. I know it says Vista on the rendering, but this is, to put it mildly, highly unlikely.

The JumPC weighs 1.5kg, 500g more than Asus's Eee 900 or Acer's Aspire One, and some 300g more than MSI's Wind. It has the smallest screen of the lot, a 7-inch compared to 8.9-inches on the Eee and Aspire One, or the 10.1-inch screen on the Wind. It costs €299, around €30 more than the Eee 701 and just €30 less than the Aspire One, so the price is just as ugly as the rest of the package.

You can find the listing here, although I really don't know why you should look at it at all.
