Longhorn becomes Windows Server 2008

Beta gets its name


Microsoft has finally decided to give its Longhorn codenamed server operating system a name. From now on Longhorn will be hidden behind the Windows Server 2008 brand.

Beta 3 is out and Microsoft renamed Longhorn Beta 3 to Windows Server 2008 Beta 3. You can even download beta 3 in eight flavours from Microsoft, but you have to count on an annoying registration. Well it's free, so you have to put some time in it.
