Written by Slobodan Simic

Performance updates and GTX 780 support

In case you managed to snatch the GTX 780 on the first day of sales, or just want some more performance, compatibility and stability improvements, you'll be happy to know that Nvidia launched the new Geforce 320.18 WHQL driver.

In addition to bringing support for the GTX 780 graphics card, the new 320.18 WHQL driver also brings performance improvements of up to 20 percent in Tomb Raider and DIRT Showdown, up to ten percent in Metro: Last Light, 8 percent in Assassin's Creed III, six percent in Far Cry 3, and up to five percent in Bioshock Infinite.

The new driver also brings compatibility and stability improvements for games like Dead Island: Riptide, Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter, Metro: Last Light, and Star Trek: The Videogame as well as SLI profiles for all of Juarez: Gunslinger, Dead Island: Riptide, Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, GRID 2, Remember Me, as well as updated profiles for Natural Selection 2, Resident Evil 6, and TrackMania Canyon.

As it was the case with previous ones, the new 320.18 WHQL driver can also be found at Nvidia's driver site.
