Votes wanted for NHL 14 cover contest

Written by David Stellmack

A chance to succeed Claude Giroux this year

NHL fans will have a chance to determine who will be on the NHL 14 installment of the franchise this time around. After a successful partnership with the NHL last year, fans will again be able to choose from the initial list of 60 choices who should be on the cover of NHL 14.

Two votes will be taken initially to pare down the field to the final 16 player bracket that will be used to determine the winner. The winner of the NHL 14 cover will be announced during the upcoming Stanley Cup playoffs that get started in a couple of weeks.

NHL 14 is on track for release on September 10th in North America and September 13th in Europe. The game is being developed for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and so far there has been no confirmation of any additional platforms that the game will appear on this time around.
