Fell off the back of a lorry

An IBM contractor is in hot water after losing tapes containing sensitive information on IBM employees from the back of his truck.

The tapes went missing near the intersection of Interstate 287 and 684 -- just a few miles south of IBM's Armonk, New York, headquarters.Big Blue has run an ad in the local newspaper asking for help in getting the tapes back.

The tapes contained sensitive information including dates of birth, Social Security numbers and addresses of current and former IBM employees. For some reason some of the tapes were not encrypted.
