The new Nexus 7 is expected to launch in a matter of weeks, and it will probably sport a Qualcomm SoC and 1080p display. The tablet is being manufactured by Quanta.

By the end of May Google is expected to ship a million units, to cope with initial launch demand. The tablet is expected to launch at Google I/O in mid May and go on sale in June or July.

The bad news? The report comes from Digitimes, and sadly its hit-and-miss record has been terrible lately.
