Tomb Raider performance/stability fixed

Nvidia has released a new Geforce 314.21 beta driver that is mostly aimed at improving performance in Tomb Raider 2013.

The new beta driver improves performance and stability in Tomb Raider and adds a couple of new SLI and 3D Vision profiles. As you remember, there was a considerable performance difference between otherwise comparable Nvidia and AMD GPUs. Nvidia already apologized and explained that the company only received a final version of the game a few days before the launch and it has been working closely with Crystal Dynamics to resolve all game issues as quickly as possible.

The most noticable issues were with a huge performance hit when TressFX hair was enabled as well as some game crashing on 600-series graphics cards that should hopefully be fixed with the new Tomb Raider update and Nvidia's Geforce 314.21 beta driver update.

You can find the new beta driver here.
