PS4 & PS3 to get Diablo 3

Written by David Stellmack

Blizzard never used the word exclusive

One of the worst kept secrets in the gaming industry was finally confirmed during Sony’s PlayStation 4 press conference. Yes, Diablo 3 is coming to console systems, and at no point was the word exclusive used; so, we have to assume that it will be coming to Microsoft’s Next Xbox and 360 as well as both the PlayStation 3 and 4.

While Blizzard did not show Diablo running on the PlayStation 4 during the press conference, they said that it was already running very nicely on the PlayStation 3. The console version will offer a single player experience as well as four-player co-op experience on a single screen. Blizzard offered that it has never been so easy to play and control.

Blizzard will be showing Diablo 3 for the console in playable form at the PAX East show in Boston on March 22nd thru March 24th. As with everything Blizzard, no official release date was announced, but we expect that will arrive early next year on dealer shelves.
