GOW: Judgment ends up leaked online

by on20 February 2013

Here we go again

In what seems like par for the course these days, word is that Gears of War: Judgment has leaked and has ended up online. As one can imagine, Microsoft isn’t happy about this at all. The company is working with law enforcement to deal with the issue, but those that pirate it will face Xbox Live and console bans if caught playing the game.

Microsoft isn’t new to dealing with leaks of popular titles ahead of the actual scheduled release. The company faced leaks with Halo 4 and took an aggressive stance by using the ban hammer on those that they caught. Still, as one can imagine the situation does not make Microsoft in the least bit happy. What is not clear is if this is a pre-release version of the game or the final RTM version of the game.

Gears of War: Judgment is slated for release in North America on March 19th and March 22nd in Europe. To help combat the video from the leak that is showing up online, Microsoft has apparently released a new trailer.
