Most Wanted gets Co-Driver mode

Written by David Stellmack

Only for the upcoming Wii U version

EA has confirmed that the promised Wii U version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted is still coming, and in fact, it will be on retailer shelves on March 19th in North America and March 21st in Europe. The reason for the delay is now apparent when the company announced the new Wii U exclusive Co-Driver mode.

The Wii U version of the game will allow two players to work together, with one player using the Wii U GamePad and the other using a Wii U Pro Controller/Wii Remote. One player does the driving while the other provides control and navigation assistance.

In addition to the exclusive Co-Driver mode for the Wii U, the Wii U version also has the Ultimate Speed Pack DLC thrown in as part of the package. Beyond these two extras, the rest of the package appears to us to be the same as players got with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game.
