EA's Take-Two deadline expires
The deadline for Take-Two Interactive Software shareholders to agree on EA's buy out passed with neither firm saying if it happened or not.
EA took its two-billion-dollar offer directly to Take-Two shareholders after the Board of Directors of Take-Two said EA had not offered enough and had undervalued "Grand Theft Auto" franchise. Take-Two spokeswoman, Meg Maise, said it was still waiting to hear from EA.
Take-Two's Board refused to even discuss a takeover with EA prior to the April 29 launch of "Grand Theft Auto IV: Liberty City Stories."
