Nokia Lumia 800 gets Windows Phone 7.8

Written by Slobodan Simic

Brings many improvements

Nokia Lumia 800 has finally got its piece of Windows Phone 7.8 OS and as of yesterday, proud owners can get their hands on new update featuring a bunch of new improvements.

The Windows Phone 7.8 update for Nokia Lumia 800 has been rumoured for quite some time and as of yesterday, users can download a four piece update that can be downloaded via Zune desktop software. The new update brings new boot screens, resizable live tiles and plenty of other improvements.

The Nokia Lumia 800 has been stuck on Windows Phone 7.5 for quite some time and this update is certainly welcome. Unfortunately, there is no info on the availability of the new update so branded devices might have to wait a bit.
