Seifert is the company’s new CFO, where he replaces Dennios Strand, who was promoted to president of the company. The company said that it will use Seifert's experience as it is growing as it is offering "a full suite of services including handset protection and insurance, multi-channel retail solutions, device buy-back and trade-in, and financial services".
Brightstar CEO Marcelo Claure said that Seifert had a proven track record of leading successful financial strategies for growing global technology companies. But we would have thought that with his months of CEO experience he would be looking for something a bit more at the top of the food chain.
Seifert left AMD back in September.
