Elon Musk reckons Apple is doomed

by on20 November 2012

No Steve Jobs, no innovation

Entrepreneur Elon Musk, the man behind Tesla Motors, PayPal and Space X, thinks Apple is in big trouble.

Speaking at a tech event in Britan, Musk argued that Google will win the phone wars because Steve Jobs is out of the picture.

“It matters quite a lot who runs the company. Years ago they were lowering Apple into the grave. But like that scene from Kill Bill, they punched through the coffin. it really makes a difference who runs the company. Larry Page is quite good and probably in the long run will come out on top,” he said.

A word of caution. Musk is basically a one-man show, so it is understandable that he would place an emphasis on leadership, banking on the charisma of another legendary entrepreneur like Jobs.
