AMD?s ex-VP of Marketing joins Lenovo

Written by Fuad Abazovic

Notebooks are the future

A chap called Stephen DiFranco who used to work as AMD’s Corporate VP of Marketing has joined Lenovo. We believe that notebooks are the future; and hey, Chinese Lenovo probably pays well, too.

He left AMD prior to the announcement that his boss, Executive Vice President Mario Rivas, will leave and Stephen already found a new nest for himself.

Lenovo does desktops, but it’s more known for notebooksm and if you are into retro design this is the thing for you. We wonder if DiFranco will dare to mess with Lenovo's 20-year-old retro notebook design, but we would like to see a refresh.

Lenovo Retro look with a new touch, we like the sound of that.
