F1 Race Stars is something new to try

A demo for the new Codemasters F1 Race Stars is coming next month. F1 Stars is a new direction for the F1 license that will see cartoon versions of your favorite F1 drivers competing in kart events. The actual release date of the demo has yet to be confirmed.

This could be best described as Mario Kart meets F1. The new direction is likely to draw a younger crowd, and the reality is that it will be a good way to introduce the F1 drivers to new young people with the hopes of attracting some fans.

The game itself is scheduled for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC platforms on November 13th in North America and November 16th in Europe. It should prove interesting to see how well this title does for Codemasters.
