Gran Turismo 5 to get 3 new cars

Written by David Stellmack

DLC to buy starting September 26th

With all of the talk about Forza and Forza Horizon lately, it’s about time that the Gran Turismo 5 gets the spot light. Sony has announced that three new cars are being released as DLC for Gran Turismo 5, starting on Wednesday September 26th. The three new cars are:

SUBARU BRZ S '12, a compact front engine, rear wheel drive (FR), powered by a horizontally opposed engine.

Honda Weider HSV-010 (SUPER GT) '11, a racecar that competed in the GT500 class of Japan's Super GT series.

Nissan GT-R N24 GT Academy '12, a car that raced in the 2012 Nürburgring 24-hour race. (The GT-R N24 is included at no extra cost with the GT5: Academy Edition.)

And speaking of the GT5: Academy Edition, it is still on schedule for release on September 25th for those looking to pick up the ultimate in Gran Turismo 5 bundles. As for the DLC cars, they will be available for individual download, but the pricing has yet to be announced.
