BSG title 4 years in development is worth checking out

There have been many attempts over the years by developers as well as fans to bring to fruition a good Battlestar Galactica game to play, but so far those attempts have failed or never were released. A number of these titles center on re-creating the experience of flying a Viper in dog fights to protect the Galactica from the Cylons.

Good news everyone! After four long years in development in what seems like forever, the first really good BSG game has been released. Called Diaspora: Shattered Armistice, the title takes place 40 years after the war between the Cylons and the Colonials, and no one has seen the Cylons till now.

Players are able to fly the MK VII Viper or the MK VIIe strike version to take part in battles between the Colonials and the Cylons. Players can play either side with multiplayer support, so you and your friends can play together. The game includes voice acting as well as a soundtrack inspired by the show, with the ability to create your own missions and share them with your friends.
