European HTC One S gets ICS 4.0.4 update

HTC Sense goes to 4.1 version


It appears that the European version of the HTC One S has started getting an over-the-air update to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich that brings Sense 4.1 as well.

Earlier this mongh HTC's flagship One X got the same update and Sense 4.1, that goes together with this update and brings quite an improvement in terms of performance as well as the battery life. The Android 4.0.4 update brought smoother homescreen animation and updated notification to the HTC One X, courtesy of Sense 4.1, as well as an optimized performance of the stock web browser and enhanced image quality of the camera, but is still not clear if those are also included in the One S update.

The update should be rolling out in most of the Europe, so if you are a proud owner of the HTC One S be sure to check your smartphone.
