US $14.99 for those with Windows 7

Microsoft has opened registration for its Windows 8 upgrade promotion and will keep it running until February 28th.

In case you missed it, the promotion goes to those that have purchased, or plan to purchase, a Windows 7 system after June 2nd this year and gives them an opportunity to upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for just US $14.99. Back when it was announced, Microsoft was keen to note that this promotion will be available to most countries and the final number is set at 140.

The process sounds like a pretty easy deal so in case you want to shell out US $14.99 you can check out more over at Windowsupgradeoffer.com.
