4Chan hits 1 billion posts, /b/tards rejoice

Written by Fudzilla staff

That’s a whole lot of memes

The wickedest site alive, image board 4Chan, has hit a major milestone, one billion nonsensical posts.

Best known as the spawning ground of classic internet memes and Anonymous, 4Chan is an immensely popular site, with more than 620 million monthly views and 22 million unique visitors. Not that anybody is actually counting, as nearly all posters are anonymous.

4Chan says it has no idea what the one-billionth post was and it invites users to “use their imagination.” Given the nature of 4Chan posts, especially those on that particular channel that is best left unnamed, we are not sure we would like to know anyway.
