Samsung to unveil Galaxy Note 2 on August 29

Written by Fudzilla staff

No specs yet

Samsung plans to show off the second generation Galaxy Note 2 phablet in Berlin, on August 29.

A Samsung spokesman confirmed the launch plans to Reuters, but did not disclose any new details. The new Note is expected to feature a souped-up Exynos 4 processor, although some rumour mongers claim it will be based on a Exynos 5 chip, which sounds rather unlikely.

The first generation Note features a 5.3-inch 1280x800 screen and weighs in at 178g, but successor is said to feature an even bigger screen, which doesn’t sound like a brilliant idea. Enough is enough.
