Promises launch in three weeks

Although we have seen the first teaser back in March, Archos has now posted a first official press shot of what, appears to be, its upcoming 7.6mm thick aluminum Archos G10 XS tablet.

Unfortunately, other than a weirdly angled teaser press shot, Archos did not shed any more details regarding the new tablet. Back in March, Archos announced that it will use "paper-thin" steel rather than aluminum in order to achieve 7.6mm thick case that will be very tough and rigid.

Archos also noted that the G10 XS will ship with Android 4.0 ICS OS and feature some sort of Transformer-like keyboard dock.

In any case, all should be revealed in three weeks time, according to Archos.
