Said to be an aggressive sound that fits the game

Rock sensation Trent Reznor will lend his artistic song writing talents to yet another high profile video game. This time, Reznor has composed the theme song for Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The rock track is described as an aggressive sounding track that fits well with the game.

Reznor has previously worked with id Software, composing music for both the Quake and Doom titles that were released by the developer. He is no stranger to composing songs for video games, which made him a natural choice to contribute the title track to Black Ops II.

While the title track is composed by Reznor, the rest of the music for the game was done by Jack Wall, who was credited most recently for the music for Mass Effect 2. Black Ops II is scheduled for release on November 13th in North America.
