Rockstar Table Tennis 2 coming?

Written by David Stellmack

Rumored to be shown at Gamescom

Could it be that Rockstar has finally gotten around to getting a sequel done for Rockstar Table Tennis? Rumors suggest that Rockstar will show what is being called “Rockstar Table Tennis Tournament” at Gamescom.

Table Tennis from Rockstar was a surprise hit when released, and fans have always wanted to see a sequel from Rockstar; but with all of the other projects the company has been working on, it always seemed to get pushed to the back burner.  Whispers we have heard seem to always indicate that it is something that Rockstar had always wanted to revisit.

The original Rockstar Table Tennis arrived with the original Xbox 360, but a Wii version was released later on. The game was developed by Rockstar’s San Diego studio, but it is unknown if that studio might be the developers of the sequel, as well. It is also likely that if a sequel is coming, it will be released for the Xbox 360 for sure, but a PlayStation 3 and Wii U version seem very much in the cards.
