The Gorn to be villains in new Star Trek game

Written by David Stellmack

Will feature the voices of Pine and Quinto

Namco, in conjunction with Paramount, has confirmed that the new key villain in the upcoming Star Trek video game that goes along with the JJ Abrams sequel will be none other than The Gorn. The game will have a standalone storyline that continues the adventures of Kirk and Spock.

Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto, who play the characters in the actual film, will pull double duty by also providing the voices for the game. The game can be played co-op or as a single player experience.

The game is still on track to be launched in 2013 and it is going to be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC platforms.
