NBA 2K13 coming in October

Written by David Stellmack

No Wii U version till the holidays

2K Games has announced that NBA 2K13 will be coming in a little ahead of schedule, with a release date in October. Getting it out a little early might be a good idea, as 2K will be facing a competitor this time around in the form of a new EA NBA Live title that will also release later this year.

The October 2nd release date in North America and the October 5th release date in Europe are only for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii, and Windows PC versions of the game. A Wii U version of the title is coming, but it will not arrive till some point during the holiday season (with additional details to follow); but 2K says it will be coming.

If you are an NBA fan, you might want to consider a pre-order of this puppy, as we hear that pre-orders will come with all kinds of All-Star game goodies presented by Sprite.
