Max Payne 3 DLC plans announced

by on02 May 2012

Season Pass to offer discounted price

Rockstar has confirmed its DLC plans for Max Payne 3, which will be starting in June. The developer is planning a lot of content to add on to the title. They are planning so much content, in fact, that Rockstar will be offering a Max Payne 3 Season Pass for 2,400 Microsoft Points, or $20, for PlayStation 3 and PC users; this represents a 35% discount over buying it all individually.

The offerings will be kicking off in June with the release of the Local Justice Map Pack and then into the summer with releases of the Disorganized Crime Map Pack, Deathmatch Made In Heaven Mode Pack, Hostage Negotiation Map Pack, and the New York Minute Co-Op Pack. The fall will bring the release of the Painful Memories Map Pack and Trickle Down Economics Map Pack.

While exact release dates will be announced closer to the actual releases, you can see that Max Payne 3 players will have a variety of content arriving until the end of the year to extend and add on to the life of the game. Sources tell us that you can expect some surprises with these releases, as well.
