Larry gets funded for another go

Written by David Stellmack

Kickstarter-funded remake is going to happen

Those who have been wondering if the Kickstarter-funded proposal to remake Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards would actually get funded will have to wonder no more. With over 11,000+ backers, the project has been able to raise over $500,000 in funding, which means that enough people are interested that the project will proceed.

With Al Lowe on board for this effort and an additional 5 days to raise more funding, it looks like the franchise still holds a special place in the heart of many. Developer Replay Games commented on their Twitter feed a note of “Thanks!” to all that had elected to fund the project.

There is still time to get in on funding Larry by clicking here.
