Microsoft’s project manager Karen X. Cheng has decided to move on but not before singing a goodbye message to the tune of Don McLean’s American Pie.

As you could imagine, the song talks about her time in the company and how it’s been three good years, but it’s time to move on. TechCrunch reported that Karen will work for a new startup called Exec.

Not much else to say other than enjoy the song. We’d recommend listening to Weird Al Yankovich’s cover of the same song titled Soon I’m Gonna Be A Jedi, but it may steal Karen’s wind.
