NBA Live 13 is returning

Written by David Stellmack

EA will give it another go in the Fall

After EA threw in the towel and pulled the plug on the last edition of NBA Live before release, the game was sent back to the drawing board for a total re-work, with the promise that it would return at a later date.

After EA shifted the development of the game and built a new development team, now comes the news that the company is planning the first release in the new generation of NBA Live offerings with an all-new experience that the company claims will “capture the future of basketball.”

The current plan calls for a fall release of NBA Live 13, but right now we know little beyond that. It will be the first of NBA Live, since NBA Live 10 was followed by the plug being pulled on NBA Live 11 before release, and NBA Live 12 was completely canceled.
