Shine on, you crazy diamond

Yahoo is
launching a new site for women between ages 25 and 54 today.

Dubbed Shine, the site targets what Yahoo hopes is “the key decision-maker in many households.”  In other words, you will see lots of advertisements for products that men think women will be interested in.

Amy Iorio, Vice President for Yahoo Lifestyles, said women were sort of caretakers for everybody in their lives and didn't feel like there was a place that was looking at the whole them. This means lots of articles about  parenting, sex and love, healthy living, food, career and money, entertainment, fashion, beauty, home life, and astrology.
