by on09 February 2012

Moves to Polycom taking on dual CFO/COO roles

Financial wizard Eric Brown will be departing the CFO position at Electronic Arts. Brown has apparently already handed in his resignation, but is staying till Friday, February 17th. In the interim following Brown’s departure, Kenneth Barker will handle the CFO duties until a replacement can be found.

Brown has been with EA since 1998 and left EA to work at both MicroStrategy and McAfee before returning to the EA family in 2008. Brown will be moving over to communications giant Polycom where he will serve in the dual role CFO and COO of communications. He starts his new gig at Polycom on February 21st.

There has been no official word from EA about Brown’s departure, but EA might not feel the need to comment on such things.
