New Ridge Racer to get Unbounded

Written by David Stellmack

Day one edition adds a lot of cool stuff

Namco has confirmed that they will be releasing a special Unbounded Day One Edition for the new Ridge Racer title. The new Day One Edition will add three extra special race cars and five Namco paint jobs for players to enjoy. And the best part is that it will cost the same regular retail price.

The three additional cars are: The Ghoster, The Immortal, and The Red Wolf.

The five special Namco paint jobs are: Pac-Man, Galaga, Tekken, Soulcalibur, and Ace Combat.

In addition, if you pre-order the game you can also lock in several other additional cars, including the Ridge Racer car from the very first Ridge Racer game.  This is cool. It is unclear whether different retailers are offering different additional cars for pre-order.

Sneak peeks at the new Ridge Racer Unbounded do appear to be very good, and it would seem that Ridge Racer could be back. We will just have to wait and see when it arrives on March 27th in North America and on March 30th in Europe.
