No Radeon HD 7970 support

Following the release of the Catalyst 12.1 WHQL driver, AMD has also rolled out a new Catalyst 12.2 Preview driver that brings a couple of new improvements but still lacks support for the Radeon HD 7970.

As far as the improvements are concerned, AMD's newest preview driver brings new AMD Eyefinity 2.1 technology enhancements and additional resolution support, where users can choose from a larger set of resolutions when running AMD Eyefinity. There are also dynamic configuration changes that include automatic display configuration when physically plugging/un-plugging displays, Hydravision enhancements that include resizing and movng the windows task bar, and additional profile manager improvements with increased support for display groups and extended configurations with the profile manager.

Unfortunately, the new driver doesn't support AMD's Radeon HD 7900 series cards. The new Catalyst 12.2 Preview driver and full release notes can be found here.
