Deep Silver pleased with the performance
Publisher Deep Silver announced that Dead Island has sold over 3 million copies. While we knew that sales of the title had passed the 2 million mark, news that sales have reached 3 million is excellent news. Deep Silver is quite pleased with the sales performance of the title.
Dead Island’s success was unexpected, and developer Techland did have a few bumps along the way; but with each patch released, the game continued to get better and better. It is believed that a sequel is in development as well as a movie based on the game.
