An HD blast from the past updated for today

The new Tony Hawk title that is in development is called “Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD” and the title will be drawing upon levels from the first two Tony Hawk titles that are completely updated and re-imagined in HD. It is slated to arrive in the first-half of 2012.

School and Downhill are two of the levels to be included. The game is expected to be going back to the roots in a re-imagined way of what many thought made Tony Hawk fun and cool when it was initially released. It will leave behind the mess of the skateboard controller of the past.
