In conjunction with its release of the new dashboard update for the Xbox 360, Microsoft has also released “My Xbox Live” for iOS. This free iOS application runs on your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad and allows access to your Xbox Live account.

The free application allows you to keep track of your friends and send messages. You can set beacons and track achievements on the go. Complete with avatar customization, the application does a great job of having your Xbox Live information for your and your friends in the palm of your hand when you can’t be at your console.

The app is downloadable from the Apple App store.
