Mango updates officially available

Written by Fudzilla staff

For all compatible devices, of course

Microsoft has officially confirmed that it is in the process of delivering Mango updates for all compatible Windows phones.

Many devices were eligible for updates weeks ago and it seems Microsoft is getting to grips with the rest of the Windows Phone 7 crowd as we speak, including bargain sub-€200 phones.

Kudos to Microsoft. It is displaying a lot of consistency in its upgrade path and giving Windows Phone users something to brag about. So, while they get to chew a nice, ripe Mango with a smug smirk on their face, Android users can only hope their Ice Cream Sandwich won’t melt by the time it is their turn to upgrade.
