Review: Blue LED and good performance

Gelid Solutions recently launched the GX-7, its new CPU cooler aimed at gamers and demanding users and we tested it here. If you read the review, you know that the GX-7 comes with one Wing 12 PL (Blue) fan. Since the Wing PL 12 can be purchased separately for about €15, we decided to test it on its own. We’re talking about a versatile fan that can be used both as a case fan or CPU cooler fan.

The name Wing 12 PL (Blue) suggests that the fan is 12cm in diameter, whereas PL probably stands for “PWM Control & LED Light“.„Blue“ stands for the blue LEDs on the fan.
