AC Ryan has announced the addition to its media player lineup, the Android 2.2 based Veolo media player. The new Veolo media player lets you browse web, play games, use your favorite social sites and of course stream video to the HDTV of your choice.

Spec wise, the Veolo packs a 1GHz Cortex-A9 CPU, 512MB of DDR3 memory, 4GB of NAND flash memory for OS and apps, and has Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11bgn WiFi connectivity. The rest of the features include HDMI output, two USB 2.0 ports, memory card reader, SAMBA client/server, NFS client and FTP client network protocols, support for most audio and video codecs as well as formats.

As noted, it comes with an integrated web browser that has Java and Flash support and comes bundled with a 3-in-1 remote control that, at least according to AC Ryan, has all the functionality of a keyboard and mouse, wireless motion controller and standard remote control.

The Veolo Android media player will start shipping in November with a suggested retail price set at €199.99/US $279.
