Entertainment Software Association’s report claims that 38% of all passionate gamers are females.
The report says that female gamers spend an average of 7.4 hours per week on gaming. These studies coupled with sales data show that female gamers usually play simpler games, mostly Nintendo DS and social games, such as The Sims, where females make up to 55% of gamers.
