Apple prepares "Let's Talk iPhone" event

Announcement begins at 10:00am PDT

For the past few months, the Web has been ripe with fruity rumors regarding Apple’s next-generation iOS devices. With more than a handful of technology news sites, analyst firms and enthusiastic individuals have staking some highly unsubstantiated claims about the company’s next avenues of mobile revenue growth, we can finally put our doubts to rest in just a few short hours from now.

Apple is set to announce its next-generation iPhone device(s) at its “Let’s Talk iPhone” event, which will be held at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, Northern California. A recent post from 9to5Mac shows that employees have posted up the official event banner at the headquarters entrance, inviting notable members of the press and honored guests to attend its all-too-overhyped-as-usual press event.

Doors will open at 9:00am PDT on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California. The event will begin at 10:00am PDT, and we expect more than a handful of live online blogs to have real-time information available for streaming during the product announcement(s). Stay tuned for Tuesday morning on the West Coast!
