Sprint to carry iPhone 5

Written by David Stellmack

Confirmation expected at launch event
The launch of the next iPhone will take place at an event on October 4th at 10 A.M. PST at the Apple campus in Cupertino, California. CEO Tim Cook will be hosting the event.

At the event Apple is expected to announce the new iPhone as well as iOS version 5. It is also expected that Apple will announce that Sprint will begin offering the iPhone, and rumors of a new iPod Touch in white have been whispered. Of course, Sprint is still mum about the issue and we probably won’t get official word until the launch event.

It is expected that once Sprint is announced as offering the iPhone they will likely not begin offering it for sale to their customers until November 1st if all of the whispers that we are hearing from the Sprint camp are true.
